Wagaman School End of Year Celebrations

As 2015 draws to a close, Wagaman School celebrated with award ceremonies, concerts, and graduation parties.

It is always satisfying to see the growth in student learning and social development as the year progresses.

A special farewell to the 37 Year 6 students who are transitioning into Middle School in 2016.

One of the biggest award announcements was Gracie AhMat receiving the Deadly Attender award. Gracie achieved 100% attendance for four consecutive years!

Wagaman School launches sister school relationship in Timor Leste

Wagaman School launched a sister school relationship with Maubara School in Timor Leste this week.

East Timor is our nearest neighbour (1hour 10 minutes airflight) and as an Asian nation has much to offer us in intercultural studies.

Timor Leste is a developing nation and our NT Department of Education has aided their education opportunities with the provision of access to technology.
